The South West Road Rally (SWRR)
27 to 30 April 2026
Limited to 6 cars
A Grand Tour Through the Heart of the South West
The South West Road Rally is where the Hiscocks Road Rally story began, a three night journey through Dorset, Somerset, Devon and Cornwall. It captures the essence of HRR: beautiful roads, characterful inns and the camaraderie that defines true grand touring.
Departing from Hiscocks Farm in Dorset, the rally winds across Exmoor and Dartmoor, following sweeping coastlines and open moorland before finishing beside the sea in Salcombe. Expect exceptional driving, rural luxury, and shared adventure from start to finish.
The Route
Day 1: Hiscocks Farm → Hardy Monument → Abbotsbury → Porlock Hill
Begin in Dorset’s rolling countryside, passing Hardy Monument and the Jurassic Coast before climbing Porlock Hill into Exmoor. Lunch at The Lord Poulett Arms and overnight at The Exmoor Forest Inn in Simonsbath.
Day 2: Exmoor → Mystery Lunch Destination → Bodmin Moor
A morning walk followed by lunch at a mystery lunch spot (clues collected on Treasure Hunt). The group walks the Camel Trail before crossing Davidstow Airfield and finishing at The Jamaica Inn on Bodmin Moor.
Day 3: Bodmin → Dartmoor → Salcombe
A scenic run across Dartmoor with an optional wild swim at Bel Pool, before descending to South Sands Hotel in Salcombe for closing drinks and the HRR awards.
Day 4: Choose your own route home or join the optional morning convoy along the Devon coast.
